Antonio Fazio, aka “ato”, is an Italian art director and designer born in Switzerland in 1984.
A graduate of Eracom Lausanne (2010), he has lived, worked, and lectured across Paris, New York, and Milan, and is now based in Zürich. His work spans fashion, luxury, and sport, with clients including Prada, Versace, Maserati, Swatch, Hennessy, Adidas and the NBA.

Symbols bridge the gap between the what we experience as reality in the physical world and what we imagine this experience is or could be. Symbols link the abstract world of ideas and the imagination with sensual experience. In other words, unlike other species, human beings have adapted to the physical environment by creating a dimension beyond physical reality – a symbolic universe that reaches beyond the external reality of the natural world. Human beings learned how to separate what they were experiencing in the moment from the meaning they attributed or associated with the experience.
