Antonio Fazio aka "Ato" is an Italian art director and designer, born in Switzerland in 1984. He studied graphic and product design at Eracom in Lausanne and graduated in 2010. He has lived, worked and lectured in Paris, New York, Milan and is now based in Lausanne. He collaborates with brands such as Prada, Versace, Maserati, Swatch, Hennessy, Adidas, the NBA and Eterna, to name a few.

Expert in Graphic Design and Printing operations, Antonio has a high sense of style and color and gained a solid experience in Product Design. — The various professional positions he held gives him the expertise in researching new materials, innovative technologies and the knowledge of several processes in industrial production.
Antonio has studied Graphic Design and Typography at Eracom in Lausanne, Switzerland and graduated with honors in 2010.
He started his career in Brooklyn, NY as a Footwear Designer intern in The KDU (The Keystone Design Union) office with a big project for the Chinese sportswear brand 361°. He worked later as a Graphic Designer for various design studios but he soon realized that his abilities would lead him to work on multiple dimensions.
In 2011, iconic Swiss brand Swatch hired him as a Concept & Product Designer which jumpstarted his career. Responsible of developing new design concepts, product lines, new materials, graphics and patterns for the annual collections, Antonio polished his skills and gained a solid experience in Product Design. He became an important element of one the most important project in the brand history, the Sistem51 for which he is the inventor of six patents for its revolutionary automatic watch movement.![]()

From 2016 to 2018, he co-founded Manifacto and was in charge of the design development.Manifacto was specialized in designing and manufacturing timepieces, jewelry and accessories for fashion and lifestyle brands with a worldwide network of sustainable suppliers. He also lectured Product and Graphic Design at Strate, School of Design in Paris from 2016 to 2018.
